The frame has been minimized, allowing the rotating wine glasses to take center stage, making a bold yet elegant statement on your wall. The design is versatile too—position the lower winding pulley wherever it fits your space, as long as it's placed beneath the four rotating glasses.

Quality and longevity are at the heart of Salute’s construction. Instead of standard wooden ratchet wheels, polished brass pins were used for a touch of luxury and durability, making this piece not only a beautiful sculpture but a testament to craftsmanship. The imported Baltic birch wood, with its natural grain and rich texture, is carefully preserved—no paint is used. Instead, the wood is meticulously sanded, stained where necessary, and treated with durable urethane for protection against UV light and humidity.

The motion of Salute is powered by a steel spring belt, far superior to rubber belts, ensuring a fluid, long-lasting movement. It’s a hybrid kinetic sculpture, where the four wine glasses are spun by the force of a descending weight—similar to the mechanism of a grandfather clock. An innovative stepper motor and micro-computer work in harmony to raise the weight, creating a mesmerizing, serene visual effect.

Even though the weight is lifted using an electronic mechanism, you don’t have to worry about plugging it in. Powered by a rechargeable Makita hand tool battery, Salute offers the convenience of portability, with two batteries and a charger included. Once the weight is lifted, gravity takes over, and the sculpture maintains its calming motion for about an hour before the weight needs lifting again.

For added customization, the two-tone metallic coloring of the satellite components can be personalized to match your space.
